One team covering tax, compliance, business support, and aligned finance conversations

Experienced advice with a personal way of working.

Before becoming WMP Tax, the firm operated for more than 25 years as Ruthven Gangemi & Associates. The move to Burswood in 2018 gave the business a fresh home and updated identity, while keeping the same client-first approach.

The team works to understand each client’s situation properly, then shape advice around what will actually help. That includes day-to-day compliance, broader business guidance, and strategic conversations about tax and wealth.

Through the associated business WMP Finance, clients can also access support around lending and finance structures that complement the tax advice being provided.

What clients can expect

  • A friendly, responsive team that explains things in plain language.
  • Advice shaped around real business and family circumstances, not generic templates.
  • Support across compliance, planning, structure, cash flow, and ongoing decision-making.

Approachable, thorough, and focused
on outcomes that matter.

Florence Song

Receptionist & Administrator

Florence Song

Florence is the Receptionist and Administrator at WMP Tax and is often the first friendly voice clients hear when they call. She is responsible for client liaison, preparing documentation for the accounting team, issuing invoices, and lodging worksheets with the ATO on behalf of the accountants once work has been completed. While Florence is new to the taxation industry, her background in customer account management and administration has equipped her with the skills needed to thrive in her role. With a strong focus on organisation, communication and client care, she helps ensure the office runs smoothly and clients feel supported from their very first interaction. Outside of WMP Tax, Florence runs her family-owned, home-based luxury cat hotel, The Furr Seasons. If you ever hear the occasional meow in the background, there’s a good chance she’s working from home, with some furry guests close by.

Common questions before we get started.

Who do you typically work with?

WMP Tax works with individuals, sole traders, growing businesses, family groups, and clients who need practical support across tax and advisory matters.

Can we meet online if we are not in Perth?

Yes. The firm works with clients across Australia by phone, email, and online meetings as well as in person from the Burswood office.

What can we cover in the first consultation?

The first conversation is a chance to understand your current setup, your goals, and any immediate issues so the right next step is clear.

Do you only help at tax time?

No. Ongoing support around compliance, structure, reporting, and business decisions is a core part of the way WMP Tax works with clients.

Tell us where you are now and where you want to be.

We’ll help you understand the next right step, whether that means cleaner compliance, better reporting, or a stronger structure for growth.
